are incorporated toward my profession such as the word document and PowerPoint.
Also, laptops have allowed myself to use university libraries needed to
complete my paper.

considered most popular nowadays is helpful because it allows as much
possibilities as the laptops. The URL is: www.howtohint.com/computers/tablets/article-765-how-important-are-tablets-computers.html
My rationale of using
tablets is always the word features that are very helpful for me in considering
my papers. Microsoft Word document has an advance technology that allows
learners to be successful. An example to incorporate tablet to my professional
practice is the many advance features and easy to access.
I am with you on the laptop. I have used a mini laptop for most of my online courses starting with my Bachelor's degree to my dual MBA. I liked that the computer was portable with attributes and features as a desktop. I do believe that tablets like iPads will be used more in the future. I got a small mini tablet for Christmas and yet I only use it for web searching. I hope to spend more time to learn available features because I have found iPad research as shown that the tablet can be used as well as a mini computer. I believe that today's learner wants to access information quickly using portable devices with a small size. I think mobile device manufactureswill need to step the battery length as well as memory capacity as mobile learning expands.
ReplyDeleteGreat post on the use of laptops and Tablets in education! The portability and convenience provided by these devices enables instantaneous, contextual observations in the field or whenever spontaneous learning opportunities arise. Collecting information outside the classroom can help students hone observation and collaboration skills, reinforce topic relevancy, or provide opportunities to emulate an expert system through use of the apps.
ReplyDeleteHi Jean,
ReplyDeleteI agree with your points highlighting the benefits of technology in the classroom. It seems ironic to me that, with such a large educational movement focusing on collaborative learning, there is still such a hesitation to allow technology in the classroom.
